Spring Equinox Immersive Sound Experience at Epiphany Arts in Chicago

  • Epiphany Center for the Arts 201 South Ashland Avenue Chicago, IL, 60607 United States (map)

When was the last time you had an experience with music that penetrated deeper than your ears?

One that resonated so deeply, you felt changed at a cellular level?

Join singer and sound healing artist, Davin Youngs in Epiphany Hall for an immersive sound healing experience that promises just that... vibrational and transformational change.

Blending ancient and contemporary tools, Davin will use his voice, electronic looping devices, crystal singing bowls, tuning forks and other overtone-emitting instruments to create a container of sound for healing and transformation.

What will make this journey truly special is the subtle integration of electronic beats and the emergence of music that reflects the deep night of the winter solstice and the beauty within every person present.

To participate is to lie down and receive. Davin guides the sound to do the rest.

Please BYO mats and blankets as they will not be provided. Wear comfortable clothing and bring any additional items (pillows, blankets, eye masks etc.) that will set you up for maximum comfort.

About Davin Youngs:

In the long standing tradition of sound healing, Davin Youngs stands out as a true musical innovator. He is a master of sonic enlightenment; mixing improvisational singing, electronic loops, beats and overtone emitting instruments to create soundscapes that will take you on a transformative journey into the far reaches of your mind.

He is the creator of The RESET, a highly acclaimed ambient-electro-accoustic-sound healing concert that has been heard in iconic spaces like Chicago's famed Orchestra Hall, the roof of Ace Hotel and at Arcosanti in the Arizona desert.

Davin has been coaching voice for over 20 years and hosts the podcast Free Your Voice, Free Your Life. He is also the creator of VOXUS, an experience that brings corporate and professional groups quickly and playfully into the transformation through improvisational singing.

Describing her experience with Davin, Eat Pray Love author, Elizabeth Gilbert says: “Davin Youngs is a beautiful magician of the soul. This experience not only transports, it HEALS. He has a small piece of heaven in his heart, and he invites the whole world in. I love him.”
